Edberg elects a council of 3, one of whom is appointed by council as Mayor. Elected council for the term 2007 to 2010 are as follows:

The Village of Edberg has a bountiful supply of fresh, clean soft water from two wells. Sewer lines and roads are well maintained, and the village has its own lagoon for waste management. Weekly garbage pickup is provided and delivered to nearby West Dried Meat Lake Regional Landfill. Telephone, natural gas and electrical utilities are all readily available from a number of suppliers.

Fire Department

Edberg is proud of its enthusiastic and energetic volunteer fire department. Considering the size of the community, the department is well-trained and equipped.
