Tourism, Recreation, & Parks

The Village is home to a beautiful, self-contained downtown park that has developed gradually over the years. Originally it was a small area funded by a grant from the Devonian Foundation. A major contribution from the Municipal Recreation Tourism Program, along with assistance from the Recreation, Parks & Wildlife Foundation, County of Camrose, Edberg Recreation Association, Village of Edberg and private donations has allowed it to boast of the many features it holds today.

It has developed into a much larger area, now encompassing the former C.N.R. station grounds and the old hardware store site. The park is an ideal place for family reunions, picnics, and other outdoor activities. The Cookhouse is available to rent for $25. To reserve the Cookhouse please contact the Village office.

The Village also contains a number of recreational facilities and area residents have the opportunity to enjoy them all.

The close proximity of the Battle River Valley and Dried Meat Lake allows for more recreational fun, including snowmobiling, tobogganing, horseback riding, cross country skiing, boating and swimming.
